how to juggle a soccer ball

Soccer is a fun sport that improves all-around fitness and can ease ailments caused by an inactive lifestyle. Juggling is an essential part of our training that we frequently ignore. Juggling allows athletes to feel for the ball by using all of their body parts. These touches help players gain confidence and become more aware of the parts of their bodies used to handle or pass the ball

With a broader range of ball comfort, players are more likely to use their imagination in the game. Because there is no replacement for match play, a good juggler does not ensure that a player will be a good game player. Juggling should become a daily habit by football players that requires no more than a few minutes every day. Players should be encouraged to develop good juggling techniques by their coaches.

The Best Soccer Juggling Techniques

Now let us discover the best soccer ball juggling tips. If you follow these suggestions, you will see a significant improvement.

Train Regularly

It is the most crucial tip of all, which is why I included it at the top. You’ll need to practice juggling if you want to be a good one. That doesn’t just mean kicking the ball around for a few minutes once a week. If you want to make meaningful progress, you should practice at least five days per week. You don’t have to consume hours doing it; if you only juggle for 15 minutes a day for a few weeks, you’ll see a significant improvement. Practice frequently and consistently improve your soccer juggling skills. Keep in mind that, like any other talent, the more you practice, the better you will get at it. The players who are the best jugglers are the ones that train the most.

Have Patience

When honing your juggling talents, you’ll need to be patient. Recognize that juggling a soccer ball requires practice and that you cannot expect to master it overnight. Instead, make each day an opportunity to improve your juggling abilities.

Drop The Ball On Your Foot And Catch It

Make the ball go accurately up like you would if you were doing two juggling tricks. When you’re first learning, drop the ball on your foot and kick it up to your hands, where you can catch it. It should be done with both your right and left feet. When you’ve mastered that, drop the ball and juggle it twice before catching it. You can try for three juggles and catches with each foot once you’ve mastered two, and then stop catching the ball each time.

Make Use Of Both Feet

One of the most common mistakes made by beginning jugglers is solely using their dominant foot. It is not something you would prefer to do. Although you will likely acquire more juggles if you utilize your dominant foot, one of the most significant advantages of juggling is the improvement of your weaker foot. If you only utilize your healthy foot the entire time, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Plus, you don’t want to be one of those folks who can only juggle with one foot; it makes them look foolish rather than impressive. I instruct athletes to perform 5 minutes juggling with only their right foot, then 5 minutes juggling with only their left foot, and finally 5 minutes juggling with both feet.

Don’t Kick The Ball Too Far Up In The Air

Beginner jugglers often have a habit of kicking the ball excessively high. It is considerably more challenging to control the ball when it is kicked up high, especially for beginners. When you first start, aim to kick the ball up to the level of your belly button or lower. When you grow up, you can mix in some higher kicks but keep the ball low, and you will have more success when you first start.
